Our company has a long lasting tradition
in vine-growing which has been handed down from generation
to generation. Our vineyard covers a surface area of 5 hectares
which are all located in the Municipality of Cormòns, the
town of wine, between the D.O.C. Collio and D.O.C. Isonzo
areas. Love for the land and for wine inspires us to carry
out with extreme care the rural work which consists in drastic
pruning and selection of the bunches of grapes through manual
harvesting. The wine pressing is done with a vacuum press
at 1 atmosphere, the first pressing must thus obtained is
put into stainless steel tanks where after static decantation
the clean must ferments at a temperature which is controlled
through a refrigeration plant. The wines we produce are all
single-grape type with the exception of the "cjaril ròs",
a cuvée of 55% of cabernet franc and 45% of cabernet sauvignon
matured for 12 months in French oak barriques. We produce
around 30.000 bottles a year.
